Burrata, Salami & Truffle Mayo Toast Recipe

Since sourdough is perfect for toasting, I’ve tried out loads of toast, sandwich, and grilled cheese recipes lately. And of course, I’ll be sharing my favorites right here, on the blog!

- electric grill or frying pan
Ingredients
- 1 thick slice of sourdough bread homemade or store-bought
- 0.5 - 1 ball fresh burrata
- 20 g thinly sliced salami
- extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp black truffle mayonnaise
- handful arugula
- ground black pepper & coarse salt
This super simple sandwich recipe is nothing short of decadent. With the creamy burrata cheese, rich truffle mayo, and salty slices of salami, on top of a slab of both crispy and fluffy sourdough toast, you've got yourself a lunch recipe that feels like a treat.
Instructions
- Heat up a frying pan or electric sandwich grill without any added butter or oil.
- Toast your sourdough bread until it's golden and crispy.
- Once the toast is done, spread the truffle mayo onto the toast, and distribute the fresh burrata over it.
- Slightly fold the slices of salami, and lay them on top of the burrata. Add a handful of arugula on top, then season to taste with black pepper & salt. Enjoy!
