Instructions

How to Prepare a Hash Brown & Egg Breakfast Sandwich

  • Prepare the hash browns according to the instructions on the packaging, these will probably take the longest.
  • In the meantime, fry your bacon in a skillet until it's nice and crispy. Then set it aside.
  • Cut your hamburger bun in half, lightly butter it, and toast both sides in the leftover bacon grease.
  • Crack your eggs in a bowl and give them a little whisk.
  • Add a generous amount of butter to the pan, and melt it over medium heat. Once the butter has melted, pour in the egg mixture, turn down the heat, and start whisking right away.
  • Whisk until the egg starts to solidify, then take it off the heat altogether and whisk until you're left with fluffy, scrambled eggs.
  • Season the scrambled eggs with pepper and salt, scoop them into shape for the bun, then place the slice of cheddar on top to melt into the warm eggs.
  • Start layering all the ingredients on the bottom bun. First the hash browns, then the scrambled eggs with melted cheddar cheese, then the crispy bacon, and the top bun. Enjoy!
