Meng bloem, kaneel, nootmuskaat, een snufje zout en bruine suiker totdat alle ingredi\u00ebnten goed zijn verdeeld.<\/li><li>Voeg eerst de helft van de melk toe. Meng totdat het pannenkoekenbeslag glad is. Voeg vervolgens de rest van de melk, het ei en de vanille-extract toe. Meng nogmaals totdat het beslag weer glad is.<\/li><li>Voeg de geraspte wortel toe aan het pannenkoekenbeslag en schep het met een lepel door elkaar.<\/li><li>Om het glazuur te maken, voeg je de roomkaas toe aan een kom en klop je het op totdat het een beetje luchtig is. Voeg vervolgens de poedersuiker en ongeveer 3 eetlepels melk toe om de juiste consistentie te krijgen. Meng alles goed door elkaar totdat het glazuur glad is.<\/li><li>Hak de walnoten in stukjes en zet ze opzij voor later.<\/li><li>Verhit de koekenpan op middelhoog vuur met wat boter. Giet \u00e9\u00e9n lepel beslag in de pan. Mocht je een kleine sauslepel hebben dan kan je die makkelijk gebruiken om iedere keer hetzelfde formaat pannenkoeken te krijgen.<\/li><li>Bak de pancakes tot deze aan \u00e9\u00e9n kant bruin zijn - je ziet dan waarschijnlijk wat bubbeltjes vormen in het beslag aan de ongebakken kant - en draai ze dan om.<\/li><li>Maak alvast twee stapels met de gebakken pancakes om zo de onderste een beetje warm te houden.<\/li><li>Smeer een schep van het roomkaasglazuur bovenop de stapels pancakes en strooi de stukjes gehakte walnoot erbovenop.<\/li><li>Serveer de Amerikaanse pancakes en zet een bakje op tafel met de rest van het glazuur.
